On August 22nd 2010 the Treasure Hunt Alley Cat was happening. The Start was at Tempelhof Airport. After several Checkpoints spread all over the city the Finish was reached at Teufelsberg in Grunewald.

We had a lot of fun at the Green Music 25 Bike Disco. It started at Bar25 with a nice bike trip and endet in Treptower Park. I can’t say how many people we have been but it’s been enough to create a nice big critical mass. The “Fahrrad Disco” in the park was really nice with some good electronic music.
But what is green music? At the Green Music Fahrrad Disco facebook site u can find an explanation: If it comes to the topic of climate change, one is being confronted with a long list of things that aren´t allowed anymore. However, to speed up the necessary change in our society, we don´t need prohibitions, but examples, dreams and social experiments.
Therefore, the Green Music Initiative created an Off Grid Experiment – the Green Music Fahrrad Disko. It´s all about music and energy without an electrical connection / power supply.
The DJ is only going to be able to play, if there´s enough people (minimum of 4 at a time) producing power by cycling. Which means the DJ can only give you something – music – as long as you´re giving him something – energy. Pretty simple.
We would be more than happy to get the bike back. It is a black women’s cargo bike (also goes by the name bakery bike or short-john). It has black Campagnolo MTB cranks, only on the drive side though, as well Schwalbe tires. It is approx. 40-50 years old and has several rust-spots. The most obvious mark is the dent on the top left side of the basket.
